Welcome to IPFOS
IPFOS is IPF's internal operations platform. It is where you raise and track tickets, manage users and departments, keep project records, choose your meals, and receive notifications about work that concerns you.
Signing in
Open the IPFOS web app and sign in with your company Google account — no separate password to remember. Your account must have been provisioned by an administrator first; if Google sign-in succeeds but IPFOS refuses entry, ask an admin to check that your user is active.
Administrators also have an email/password login reserved for admin and recovery use.
The dashboard
After signing in you land on the dashboard — a launcher of module cards. You only see the cards your role allows:
| Module | What it's for | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Ticketing | Raise, track, and resolve work requests | Everyone |
| Meal Plan | Browse the meal library and plan your weekly meals | Everyone with meal access |
| Users Management | Directory, departments, roles, badges | Administrators |
| Projects | Project records and their related tickets | Administrators |
A notification bell sits in the header of every module — see Notifications.
Roles in plain words
- Employee — the standard role: create tickets, comment, work tickets assigned to you, select meals.
- Administrator — everything above, plus managing users, departments, badges, projects, and any ticket.
- Meals Staff — maintains the meal library.
Within a department, two people matter for tickets: the Manager (the operational lead who receives the department's tickets) and the Head of Department (who oversees and is the escalation contact). Roles and permissions are fixed by the platform — administrators assign roles to people, but the roles themselves aren't editable in the app.
